So, Microsoft, yet again, has decided to improve upon Office, except they have blundered fantastically! A couple of weeks ago, out of the thin blue air, I can no longer access acccount Office email account via Ooutlook. Outlook now prompts me for my personal Microsoft account credentials. Now, in the past, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to assist employees with the constant password prompt. Believe me when I tell you, I know many of the tricks to fix it.

But, this is very different. If you have used Outlook for iOS or Android, or even the Windows 10 Mail app, then you may have seen the small white window that prompts for your Office credentials. Well, if you use the same email address for outlook 2019 keeps asking for microsoft account free download personal Microsoft account, that same small window that pops up will ask you if “this is a personal account” or a “work or school account”.

So, Outlook for mobile devices continues to pop up that window, and so does the mail app. Unfortunately, that feature is now broken in Outlook if you want to be technical. Now for a little bit of background. Due to a state government’s use of Microsoft Secure Document Services, I fell victim to a phishing scam.

Though I immediately discovered it, I had already entered my password. So, to prevent any future security issues, I added 2-step verification, and now use the Authenticator app religiously.

The last technician I spent hours with, discovered that if I turn off 2-step authentication, and because my Downloadd is joined to my Azure domain, Outlook will connect me to my email by using the Windows domain password. So, although that’s great news, it does not help me. Now, every single Microsoft agent is making excuses, wants me to uninstall reinstall, delete credentials, disable 2-step verification, etc.

In theory, everything should work exactly the same. Something changed in O and it broke MFA. Okay, so, 2 months later, here’s what I found:. Honestly, why couldn’t the Microsoft experts tell me this?
