With a simple user interface, making connections to USB devices is as easy as connection it through a network interface. I recommend that if you uninstall the one update and the printer works again, hide this one update from being installed.
What is the details of this KB? Any information regarding what it is? I have the same issue but with a twist. After I uninstalled the utility I can not install it again anymore!
