To me the difference between U10 and U is not worth it It has smart erase which works on simpler context aware problems, a kind of crippled frequency separation function, a liquefy function, and more automatic “actions”. It also has a few minor bugs still which, like U10 I’m sure will be corrected with updates – one of them is that the “e” key does not display the crop in the geometry tab. It does in U In all, If you don’t have U10, then get U If you have U10,unless you absolutely need any of the new functions, don’t.

If you have U9 – the the speed difference is absolutely significant, go for the upgrade. I have U9, and would love a speed bump. I find that PSU is faster with brushing, but otherwise feels about the same is U Smart Erase, Liquify, and Frequency Separation are also decent additions, though I find that Affinity Photo does a better job in all departments.
