Author Bio. Quickly Adjusting Paragraph Spacing Need to easily adjust the vertical spacing that follows a paragraph? Unfortunately as of today my hard drive died and I only have now. I resolved the problem by saving the Word document as a PDF and it prints fine. I shouldn’t have to do this but for now I have found a fix.

Since the line breaks appear to be the same, in order to get more content on the page, the printer must be reducing the line spacing. If this appeared just in physical printing, I would advise checking the printer Property settings, but if it occurs in printing to PDF as well, then it is just a mystery. What is the default paper size setting in Acrobat? If you look at the Print dialog in Acrobat, what size does it say the document is?

When printing, tables get split over two pages, lines of text shift to the next page I have checked all possible settings, but it’s a mystery to me.

But these pop-ups come out regardless of the type of printer I use. I tried three printers already and the same thing just happens. Well, you can try a repair of Office. I do not know that it will help, but at worst you will have spent a bit more time.

If your document is in Print Layout view and the top and bottom margins appear to be cut off, the option for hiding margins has been switched on. Go to File>Options>Display and check the box for “Show white space between pages in Print Layout view”. Hope this helps, Doug Robbins – MVP Office Apps &.
