I have inserted a picture that shows what happens when I open an existing document with pictures in it. The second picture demonstrates what happens when I insert a picture into a new document. The picture does not show up and it inserts a bunch of artifacts.
Did you try repairing your Office? If you only tried ‘Quick Repair’ and it did not work try ‘Online Repair’. This will take longer as it will download a fresh instance of Office You will be prompted to sign into your Office Account using the same email address and password for your Office Account, that is the same email address and password that you used to setup your Office for the first time.
If you upgraded Win7 to Win10 you would have had to reinstall Office , and if you used run an inplace repair. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.
