I am still restricted to only HD content in Netflix using Edge. There may be compatibility issues currently. There is currently no better solution to this problem. You may need to use a client for a while to watch 4K video.

These issues may be fixed in subsequent releases. I have found that it’s the video driver updates that Microsoft is pushing out through Windows Updates that’s breaking the Netflix 4K playback functionality in Edge. Please fix this!!! May I know if Microsoft is working on a fix on this?
