I was hoping I could just use default since I have never done this before. Default settings are always easier. From a previous question I posted Pauli O down third reply said:. That sounds easy which is what I want. Default and easy.

Tell me more if I need more instructions on the deleting and creation of partitions. Thank you. I have never seen that so I do not quite know what it means. From the bottom panel all four current partitions appear to be on disk 0. I assume that is the goal, to delete all partition. I believe the answer is yes. I assume UEFI mode is better. I can follow complex steps. I just make sure I have everything written out or printed out. Is UEFI mode better?

I just do not do it much. I want to be sure I have this correct. Everything else in your instructions seem easy enough. I did a dry run on the commands that do not change anything. I did not do clean or convert gpt. So, two drives will show. I select the drive number for the SSD.
