Having the same issue. I also do not want to invest in new software, just want ti install on a new computer! Let me share some info on how you can install an older version of QuickBooks Desktop on a new computer.

My colleague, KlentB , give this solution above this thread. Older versions of QuickBooks will be compatible with the older Windows operating system.

You can consult your IT specialist to guide you on how to downgrade your OS so that you can seamlessly install an old QuickBooks version to a new computer with an old OS.
